4/ How would you define godliness as used in this text?

1 Timothy 2:3-6

1/ What does this verse suggest about God’s feelings for mankind?

2/ For whom did Jesus die?

3/ What does this verse say that points to our responsibility?

2 Timothy 3:14-15

1/ What role do the scriptures play in our salvation?

1 Timothy 4:16

1/ Wasn’t Timothy already saved?

2/ Is there a sense in which we save ourselves?

3/ What does this verse say we must do?

Titus 3:3-7

1/ “Not by works of righteousness which we have done”. Does this mean we don’t do anything? What is another possible meaning?

2/ We are saved by His mercy, through the washing of regeneration.   What does the washing of regeneration refer to?
